To ensure high-quality print of your photo jigsaw puzzle, the image quality of your photo plays a crucial role. Generally, the larger the puzzle, the higher the format of your photo should be. For optimal print quality, we suggest using the following image formats in pixels, with a minimum resolution of 150 dpi (300 dpi is ideal for photo jigsaws):

• 300 - 500 pieces: 2125 x 2893 pixels (WxH)
• 1000 pieces: 2953 x 4134 pixels (WxH)

When selecting a section of an image to print, please note that a few millimetres around the edges may be lost during printing. Thus, avoid important details around the edges of the photo, such as titles or signatures. We recommend leaving a buffer of about 1 cm around the design's edges to ensure all relevant details are included in your jigsaw.

Here are some tips to help you create a stunning photo jigsaw puzzle:
• Ensure that your image is not blurry or out of focus, as this can affect the quality of your photo product.
• Choose an image with a variety of colours, as this makes the jigsaw puzzle more interesting.
• Light and bright colours work better than dark and matte colours.
• Ensure that the shapes in your design are sharp, even in the background, to make it easier to find the matching pieces.

You may upload image files in *.jpg, *.jpeg or *.png format, provided that the file size does not exceed 50 MB. Please note that the .jpg format image must use an RGB colour palette, which is typically used in image files from digital cameras and camera phones.

To find the resolution of your photo, you can follow these steps:
1. Right-click on the photo and select "Properties" (Windows) or "Get Info" (Mac).
2. Look for the "Details" or "More Info" tab.
3. Locate the section that displays the image dimensions, which will typically be listed as "width x height" in pixels (e.g., 1920 x 1080).
4. Calculate the resolution by dividing the width and height by the desired output size in inches. For example, if you want to print the photo at 8 inches by 10 inches, you would divide the pixel dimensions by 8 and 10, respectively. This will give you the resolution in pixels per inch (PPI) or dots per inch (DPI).

Alternatively, you can use image editing software such as Photoshop or GIMP to view the image size and resolution, as well as make any necessary adjustments. In Photoshop, you can go to "Image" > "Image Size" to see the dimensions and resolution of the image. In GIMP, you can go to "Image" > "Print Size" to see the print size and resolution.
